Type 5 sentences with adjective clauses or appositives that need commas.
Then type 5 sentences with adjective clauses or appositives that do not need commas.
Remember commas are needed when the information is additional and not necessary. Commas are not needed when the information is necessary in the sentence.
With commas:
1. I was introduced to his father, doctor of the regional hospital.
2. At the door of the audience is the mayor, their friend and helper.
3. Lev Vlodek, the architect who built the Opera house in Odessa, was born in Germany.
4. Birch, the favorite tree of the Russian people, was growing on one side of the highway.
5. The father,a man with gray sideburns, was laughing all day.
 Without commas:
1. Andriy Shevchenko, who is a footballer, is known far beyond Ukraine.
2. I who is a curious person did not want to leave the room.
3. George who isa fourth grade student interested in sports.
4. Artem who is the best skier of the school won the competition.
5. My grandfather who is the old hunter spent the night in the woods many times.
