Speed dating - 2

Okay, can I tell you about my speed dating experience? Well, honestly I had been thinking, that it isn't a right way for looking for a romantic partner. But some months ago my best friend assured me to try it at least one time. I didn't have optimistic mood and was not confident, but I decided to do it really at least one time. So, we went to a nice night cafe, where were a lot of different boys. Honestly, at the first sight I couldn't find at least a handsome one. There were ugly guys and men. I saw only desire to drink alcohol in their eyes. It seemed, that nobody wanted to have a really serious relationship. That night I met a lot of boys, but only three were not so bad. The first boy explained me, that he wanted to become a businessman and to have a loving family, but now he is just a gardener in the central park. The second man was really handsome and attentive to me, but I think he wasn't sincere that night. In a nutshell, the third man was also attentive and skillful in talking with girls. So, it is obviously, that he had a lot of passionate phrases for every girl. Of course, it was nice, but also not sincerely. So, I made decision, that speed dating isn't for me. Anyway, I am sure, that speed dating is a bad idea? From my point of view, it isn't right way to find the best romantic partner or a man for the life. Spending time very well and with attractions is the motto of it. It is better to go to speed dating for having an interesting conversation, developing communicative skills and making new friends, maybe. In general, the fate will find you, when you aren't looking for it, anyway...!

What a terrible invention – speed dating! Version 2.0

What a terrible invention – speed dating! I haven’t tried anything worse, I swear.

Okay, I knew it would be a stupid idea but my friend totally insisted on going.

Firstly, the bar was looking like a barn! Can you imagine that? I was afraid of mice who could suddenly appear. I was disappointed and unmoved. Then the first man came. I’m quite a proud person, you know, but that man was too modest, shy and too young. He was literally a teenager who had wet behind the ears. I really wanted to laugh and cry at the same time or even run away. The next one seemed to be quite merry and witty but then I heard his blue jokes and was just like, «Oh my God!». It was definitely annoying and wicked. Are you ready for the third man? Okay, he was a redneck, without exaggeration. So, I lost my mood. Then I got to know the fourth one who was so lighthearted that cared only about his new BMW. I thought that he didn’t need a girl at all. The car was above everything… And the last one was such a heartthrob! But I was not supposed to be the tenth girl or one of the crowd. So, I went out really upset.

Dear girls, I don’t recommend such dates. Even if you have a huge desire to find your real love, you should not search. Your heart will do this.

Speed Dating / Corrected version

Have you ever been on the Speed Dating?While you are thinking, I want to tell you about my own experience.

So, once my friend offered me to visit a Speed Dating. Being a good friend I could not refuse. To be honest she kneeled me to go with her. I didn’t like events like that one. I had never been on the parties or nights-in up until then. As for me the best rest is watching favourite movies or TV shows with the family or sitting in a cafe with a friend and drinking coffee and have a heart-to-heart conversation with her. But thanks to my friend I gained an experience.

Well, it was a good sunny day without any cloud in the sky. My friend and I agreed to meet at half past six near the café. I was preparing to the events and then I noticed my favourite dress was dirty. I had a lot of time, so I decided to wash it. After this I was ready to go to the Speed Dating. As I said there was any cloud in the sky, but when I was approaching to the café, the rain started. That’s why I realized it would be the worst day in my life.

The café was bright with blue striped walls and oak floor. The manager was a nice man with a beautiful smile. The  atmosphere was peaceful.

Then the dating started. A man in an expensive suit sat me down. That would be, if he was not a gay. He told me about his ex-boyfriend. It was so strange to hear.

Another boy had unusual smell. At first it seemed to me it was a perfume. But then I understood  he was drunk as a pig. To be honest I prayed the time would come to the end.

And the last boy was a bandit. You can ask me how could I realize it? I saw a gun in the pocket and he behaved sharp. It was my tipping point and I went away. But my friend stayed and she found his future husband on the Speed Dating.

So, as for me, it was a bad experience but I can say with confidence you can find your love on the Speed Dating as my friend did. You need only some patience.

  Speed dating is the thing I have never tried. But I think it would be a great adventure for me. If I go out on a date , I will wear a fashionable dress , a necklace and earrings. I believe,that if you wear something elegant , you will naturally feel more confident .
   How will I feel when arrive at the bar? I am a shy person, so I think I will feel uncomfortable and nervous in the situation,when a dozen of strangers look a little reproachfully at you.
   Well , then I will take a seat and will be looking for the first boy. My first conversation will be strained and incredulous , because I will be shocked by new experience. But after the first few rounds, I will be more talkative and I will just enjoy my dating. Nevertheless , good manners and modesty are the important things of successful dating. The right version of 'speed dating'

When I entered the bar, I felt a little uncomfortable, because everyone was talking to each other, and I didn`t know anyone. By switching tables, I met a lot of different people. Some of them were quite strange such as a rude muscular man or a fat man, who wanted something from me. The others were a typical intelligent men, who asked questions to know me better and we did not get bored. I didn`t meet some special man, who I would fall in love with at once, but they all were very nice.
In general, I enjoyed myself at that bar, it was pretty interesting experience. I guess speed-dating is an interesting and fun thing, because you can meet a lot of different people and sometimes men and women can even find their love there! I think I`ll give myself another try one day.

Speed Dating. The Better Version

 One day my friend and I decided to go to the Speed Dating. We heard about it on the Internet. Everybody praised it, gave  pieces of advice to be sure to go. So, we found some free time for it.
   We were very serious about it. We chose the best dresses, had our hair done and got our manicure - all for amazing looks.
   On the way I imagined how guy should look like in order to impress me. He must be in suit, with a charming smile, good maners and high-class perfume.
   When we came on, there was no one like my ideal. But I know one very good  phrase "Don't judge a book by its cover" and I was hoping it would work.
   On these mini dates I have asked questions that I  have came up previously and some answers pleasantly surprised me. I thought I was just lucky that exactly those people came there that day. Although I haven't met someone special and my friend hasn't too, we don't regret that we have gone there. We familiarized with many interesting and vivid persons. What's more, we comunicate with them so far.
   This Speed Dating left a lot of good memories of a pleasant atmosphere, easiness and positive emotions.

I have never been speed-dating,so i decided to try this kind of meetings.As a result i finally understood ,that all people are different.It took place in a snug seat.I think ,that this kind of  dates are not for me.Everything happened so fast arround us.I had little time to get to know a partner better,by this,first impressions can often prove illusory.I have  met with 5 different boys,who  didn`t take my breath away...I consider,neither of them were conversable.Several of them were rather boring.All the others were too big for their boots...What was wrong with each of mine dates?Maybe i was out of luck...

Speed dating with some corrections

Love is an amazing feeling that makes people happy. Every meeting with person with whom you fall in love gives you a lot of energy and inspiration for new business. In my imagination love is connected with some words from the song “I believe I can fly I believe I can touch the sky”. So, to feel this incredible emotion I went to the speed dating. My friend found the advertisement in the Internet and offered me to go with her. I thought “ why not?” We live just once.

I wore my favourite  black dress. However, I was a little bit scared. My first partner was really handsome and talkative. He told me about his job. Actually, he works as a model and he likes to be in the high light. He was talking about this all the time. Can you believe it? Yes, it was terrible! Thank God after 10 minutes my partner was changed.

The next guy was really amazing. I can say, that he was almost my ideal. He was tall and thin. I adore tall boys. He had tanned skin. His eyes were hazel.  However, light was not so bright in the café and he looked like a demon with mystery dark eyes. Luckily, he hadn`t moustache because I hate it. In fact, the main reason why I liked him is that we quickly found common ground. I noticed, that we have one point of view about some things. And a very important thing for me is that he has a good sense of humor. His story about younger sister made me laughing while I felt pain in my stomach. With him I put my heart at rest.  However, we had just 10 minutes and our time was over. I didn`t want to say him “goodbye”. Maybe he read my thoughts but he offered to go away from the café and walk together.

I came home at midnight. My heart was leaping. That's how our love story began.

Considering all things I would like to say if you try something new you can get a lot of positive emotions or even find true love.

Speed dating. Corrections

I have spent a lot of time trying to imagine how I could get on a speed dating.  Thanks to my efforts and imagination I have done it. And now I want to introduce you my story.

I was walking in a town one day, when a terrible rain started. I ran to the nearest café in order to hide from the rain. It turned out that there was a speed dating in this place and they didn’t have enough girls for this event. So workers of this café persuaded me to take part too.

I felt very uncomfortable there. At that time I knew nothing about speed dating. I thought that only people with low self-esteem attend such meetings.

The first boy I have met was a nerd, who kept on telling me about his achievements in physics and maths. At the middle of our communication he asked me some formulas which I didn’t know. Then he said that I was silly and changed partner.

Then I had a conversation with a red-haired boy, who told me about his Irish roots, with a drummer who beat out a rhythm with his fingers and with a boy who had more make-up on his face than I.

The last boy was a football player and I was glad that I finally met someone with same interests. It turned out that he was also a fan of “Shakhtar” and we decided to watch next match together. 

So my first experience of speed-dating was very good. I have understood that there we can meet people with same interests and find new friends.

Speed Dating - 1

To tell you the truth, it was awful. I`ll never go for it again. Of course, the cafe was wonderful. There was lovely furniture and good service, but partners... So a few words about them:

1. He seemed to be a simple boy. He resembled 90% boys that existed on the Earth. We had a chat. And he wanted to show that he was a star, but failed it. He said: "Once I was shown on the TV, really. I gave an interview when I was in a juvie".
2. He was as nice as a picture. His eyes were blue, he had chestnut hair, he was tall. But he was old-fashioned and his manners seemed to had been taken after robots. As it happened he was a dancer. To cut a long story short, it`s not my type of men.
3. He wasn`t alone. His dog was with him. He said the dog always slept with him. I imagined myself to be the third and felt blue.
4. The next one was really cheerful. His name was Ahmed. He invited me to his shop which was working all day long and promised to treat me with kebab or shawerma.
5. That time I met a beautiful man. As for his way of life, he slept half a day and then played computer games. He told me a lot about DOTA2, THE WOLRD OF TANKS and so on and so forth.
6. That one was yogi. So I got to know something new about "right" hairstyles, a special diet which was "the rightest one in the whole world" and even some facts about useful heroin, as a matter of fact.
7. The seventh one was a body-builder. So there was no themes to speak about except for his strong ans handsome body.
8. The next one was a gispy. He had five golden teeth. He was a really happy person, but he should marry a gisoy. So his aim was only to have fun.
9. The ninth one was a nationalist. Everything had passed well untill my phone rang and the melody was: "Everything is for you" by Stas Mikhaylov. Thanks to God, I am still alive.
10. And the last one wasn`t less strange. He said that it was important to try everything when you are young. So he had an experience of eating snakes, smoaking foam plastic, doing dog-enjoyment and now he wanted to try different types of women. By the way, why not to try to be a kind person? I didn`t manage to understand him.

Finally, I decided that the speed dating is a mistake and a wasting of time for me.

Unexpected guest

This story happened a long time ago. Parents and their three children were living in a quiet village near the forest. They were happy and lead a merry life until one dreadful day.
One Friday evening they gathered together for a supper. By the way, it was their family tradition to spend time in the family circle every day.
As it always has been, parents and children sat down to eat after a hard day. Mother had cooked many tasty dishes, so they just enjoyed the meals and communicated with one another.
Suddenly someone knocked on their door.  It was very unexpected as it was deep night outside and no one had come so late before. It turned out that their guest was a stocky man with a big bushy beard and very arch look. He explained that he got lost and all he needed was a place to stay for a night.
Family kindly agreed to help him and invited to join the dinner.
Nobody thought he was strange or suspicious exept the smallest daughter who was terrified of his shifty eyes. Her hands were shaking so much that she dropped her fork under the table. When she leaned down to lift the fork, she saw that the man had hooves instead of feet. She quickly became straight and all she saw were her dead relatives and blood writting on the wall: "Your fork saved you"

You can thought that it is myth but how to deal with hoof prints which were found near the house?

Can you believe it?

It`s only your choice believe this or not, but don`t forget everything is possible in this world.
It happened in a remote city, which located near the forest in the North America. Firstly,the blood has begun to disappear in hospitals.All city residents were shocked and concerned.There were rumors a mad scientist kidnapped it for the secret and illegal experiments.But this was not confirmed. Secondly, 2 dead cops were found with severed heads in the forest.Residents were scared and afraid to leave their homes late in the evening.But John wasn't afraid of anything, so he bravely went for a lonely night walk in the park.He was found without a head the next morning.The police have linked it with the unknown attacks of wild animals.The company of teenagers was found even after 3 days, it was 5 dead bodies without heads too.The oldest residents remembered with horror about vampires, but of course, nobody officially supported this fact.Besides, this all seems finished, but for how long?

Killing the boss

It was the evening before the Christmas Eve in one usual company. The secretary was  feeding the cattle in her computer game. Other clerks tried to finish their work as fast as possible, dreaming to come back home to their families & have a nice dinner. But accidently the staff heard the scream from the headman`s office. The secretary found the boss lying on the floor with knife in his back, his shirt & the floor were in blood. Max, the most strong worker in such things, called the police & a doctor for a secretary. Everyone was shocked & frightened with that event. But since time the majority of workers realized that the killer must be one of them. But who could do such a terrible thing? Well, the police investigation had to help in such situation. But not everything was so simple as seemed to be. The investigation didn`t find any pieces of evidence or fingerprints on the place of murder. So, the identity of killer wasn`t determined so fast. All the workers were in tension all the next week. They were trying to guess who could hate the headman so much to to kill him before the Christmas. But during the process of searching the killer, the workers realized that all of them were in good relations with their boss & with group at all. So, this case had a dead end. "What could happen there?" this question flooded all the thoughts of the curious secretary. So, next morning she decided to look at the place of the murder onr more time. And she was very surprised finding the headman working at his computer. He was glad to see her & told her all the truth, that he had planned that "mureder" for long time just to examine his group, was each of members deserve to work with him.

The Axeman of New Orleans

It was the night of March 19, 1919 and jazz played in New Orleans.

I was coming home from work as always very late. Usually, I was not afraid to go home at night because New Orleans  is a city that never sleeps, but it was a special day.

Unknown maniac nicknamed "axeman" wielded in New Orleans and the surrounding area with an ax. It went on for about a year. But his latest act made our city tremble. A few days ago a letter appeared in the newspaper, which had excited the whole city.Axeman mocked the police and the detectives, who will never catch him. Moreover, he mentioned the exact date of his next hunting-March 19. It is today. Axeman also showed mercy, if you can call it that. He wrote that he would not enter those houses where the jazz will sound. Have you ever seen such a great connoisseur of jazz? Because of this, the city has gone crazy. I went home and from every house and bar sounded jazz.

At that moment I really regretted  that I didn`t agree to move to my boyfriend and decided to live in the house alone. I walked home more and more quickly. My heels clattered, merging with the sounds of jazz.I was becoming frightened.I imagined the axeman.An ample, stocky man with a square chin, a broad forehead ,heavy ,shaggy eyebrows and  icy eyes. God, I was not cowardly woman, but  it was so terribly. Probably,I had to stay at work or to spend the night in the house of my colleagues Mary.

Finally, I came to my house. It was detached house in Georgian style.  He looked unnaturally among all this cacophony. I enter the house and  quickly followed into the living room. That's where I kept my turntable and music records. Recently, my brother-in-law gave me a great vinyl record.

Suddenly, my heart sank into my boots.  Oh my God, I borrowed Mary my turntable !!! I sat on the sofa in the living room when I heard a knock. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something shiny. It was an ax…

Horrible Mondays

To begin with I want to ask you: Do you like Mondays.
Well, maybe someone has ever heard about Brenda Ann Spencer, but she is a young American killer. In 1979, on Monday Spencer began shooting from her home at children, who were waiting outside Cleveland Elementary School. She managed to injure eight children. One policeman was killed, when was trying to protect children, and one student was killed too, unfortunately. In conclusion she was tried as an adult. She was sentenced to 25 years to life. Then doctors found out, that she was an epileptic. Immediately after killing police surrounded her house, but she refused to go out. During seven hours police made attempts to speak with this young killer. Finally, she gave up.
What do you think about her real motivation? Oh, it was so interesting and just quaint. There is original text of her answer:
" I just started shooting, that's it. I just did it for the fun of it. I just don't like Mondays. I just did it because it's a way to cheer the day up. Nobody likes Mondays."
So, now she is 54 years old and she continues to spend the whole time in prison, without oblivion.
Are you sure, that she has very interesting and useful life?
P.S. Before killing she had said, that could do everything for becoming famous.

A forest devirly..

         People often consider that legends are just tales ,which were  concocted by our ancestors .A lot of us really don`t buy  it. I  want to share about strange things with you, that happened one time ago.

         One fine day ,a tourer party gathered together to have a weekend brake . They decided  to have a rest near the village among the hills. The view from here was grand  and precisely ,that attracted each and all. When tourists got at the place of destination, they were given a hostile reception by locals, who were talking fluently about a ghost or  a phantom, something of the sort. This ghost was an evil spirit of a girl ,who were looking for  somebody, who had killed her. No one else  has come  round to the forest , because there were rumors a ghost had already killed  a several people there. But, nevertheless, tourists didn`t scrap their plans to have a rest. Holidaymakers made a big fire they were singing golden oldies and talking a blue stick all evening and night, caring away all forest animals. Tourists didn`t  know  that they were on a razor edge. One man  went to pick  firewood to the forest. Suddenly he caught  sight of the white spot behind the tree…He was such horrified  by this vision. Everyone thought he was off his rocker ,because the previous day he had pickled his nose (with a  screwdriver).The following day  tourists fond out a body…It was terrible death-  a dead  rabbit  lied on the tent with  note in the mouth: "Get out from here, or you  would be killed  ,like  this rabbit " After  this everyone had the wind up and  decided to skin out!

           All this tourists got back home alive and unspoiled. As it turned out ,all this things were monkey tricks by locals ,who  were fed up with tourists` behavior , who  always drop in  village in summer holidays, making a mess around. But now , anyway , it`s still unknown   who killed that innocent rabbit…

Vice Versa Wolf

The human history hadn`t known such situations till one day. The police found a dead homeless woman body. She was killed by a small hatchet when she carried her big bags with glass bottles. It happened near the supermarket 'Silpo". The next victim was a volunteer. She suffered in the common way. She bougt a lot of food. When the killer noticed her she was going to the festival. There were some more victims. All killings were committed near supermarkets. All victims were going from it when they suffered. The strange fact was that buns, candies, bars of chocolate weren`t found. So the killer wasn`t interested in money. People called him "Vice Versa Wolf". Everyone knew the fairytale about a Little Red Riding Hood. She had a basket with crumpets, but the wolf ate her, not sweets. The police started controlling the situation. They made a lot of efforts to arrest this "wolf". Finally, they coped with it. As it turned out, he was insane. He cried as a little child. He was persuading the police that he collected food as bonuses and killed people as enemies. He imagined he played in reality like in a computer game. Now he is treated in an asylum.

A cursed movie

The curse of the trilogy "Poltergeist" is the most famous in Hollywood. In six years, four actors died relating to the movie. Some say that the troubles in the set were brought by real human skeletons that were used during filming. Actress Dominique Dunne, who played the eldest daughter in the family Freeling, was strangled by her jealous boyfriend after the first part of the trilogy. The actor Julian Beck of the second part of "Poltergeist" died right after the completion of filming because he got cancer. Than actor Will Sampson died during the heart surgery. The fourth death in the cast shocked Hollywood the most: during the filming of the third "Poltergeist" 12-year-old Heather O'Rourke, that played the youngest daughter Carol Ann in all three parts of the cycle, has died from a heart attack caused by intestinal disease. Also writer James Kahn, who adapted the screenplay for the novel, became a victim of the disaster. The final tragic event was the destruction of "Freeling family", the real home where the shooting took place, during an earthquake in Los Angeles in 1994.
Honestly, this real story shocked me a lot. I do not believe in ghosts or poltergeists, but their deaths are so creepy.

«There never was a story of more woe…»?

It was the worst night of my life. I was a stupid teenager who was looking for adventures. So, my groupmates and I decided to sleep over in Stella’s house. We were hot blooded, no doubt.

Firstly, it was decided to watch a movie starring our king Leo DiCaprio. Oh, we were admiring him all the time! I understood how a perfect man had to look like.

There were four of us. And only Stella had a boyfriend. She was head over heels in love, you know. But girls and I didn’t like him at all. Stella was a gorgeous girl with jet-black glossy hair and always bright-painted lips. Besides, she was considered to be very smart and intelligent (a daughter of teachers) and his sweetheart Jack was a well-built man, handsome but really bad-tempered. It is said that good girls love bad boys.

So, we were watching the movie and eating mint popcorn (so yummy!). And then Stella said that she would go out to call her mom who was on vacation. We were just like, «Okay, say hello to Mrs. Smith!». It was a hard school day and we fell asleep.

The next day greeted us with bright sun and there was no cloud in the sky. I looked around: Valery, Sindy… But where was Stella?! She disappeared. We called her mom and she didn’t know anything. Moreover, Stella hadn’t called her that day. What the hell was going on??? We went to the garden and all of us got helpless and scared. JACK WAS KILLED! But there was no Stella! If she killed him, how she could and why?! These questions were permanent in my head.

The police arrived and they discovered the body in the swimming pool. It was quite cold outside and the body was getting blue. I have never seen anything worse. It was Stella. She was dead. She drowned herself having left a note, «I was supposed to be the one, the love of his life! If he can’t be mine, he won’t be anyone’s else».

Let me admit, our beloved movie with Leo DiCaprio was «Romeo + Juliet». Life jokes sometimes, doesn’t it?
