One day of Theo's life | +1 friend
It was a crisp Sunday morning. I usually do nothing at weekends , but yesterday I decided to do a special effort. I am fond of dogs . Although I am only 10, I know everything about each breed . For example , Spaniel is the most easy-going dog , the Beagle has an even temper and the Pug is one of the most aggressive breed. I've been meaning to visit animal exhibition for ages. And that Sunday was very suitable for it.My mother accepted that proposal and in high spirits we went to the local shopping mall where the exhibition was held. My heart leapt . I was enchanted by the dozen of fluffy puppies . Their big eyes moved my heart. I came up to each pet , flattered him , played with him and just enjoyed the moment .
What happened next was fabulous! My mother noticed my delight and said : " Theo, how will we name our puppy?" Firstly, I was puzzled. I didn't understand her intentions. But when I had finally understood what she meant I jumped over the moon.I could scarcely believe my ears. We chose the merry sand-coloured Pekingese that had a lot of spirit. I decided to name him Ziggy that was created from " zigzag". I think this name is very suitable for him.
So, it was one of the most wonderful days in my life. I have +1 good friend. I hope Jack won't feel jealousy☺. I am a very happy person!

ReplyDeleteOK, you've done it! Frankly speaking, I've been working fingers to the bones to find any mistakes... But, fortunately, I've coped with it, but all of them are stilistic. So the sentance: "I usually do nothing at weekends , but yesterday I decided to do a special effort". We use "make" with such words as efforts, decisions etc. But we DO sport, business, work and so on. Besides it sounds a bit strange that although Theo is only 10, he know everything about each breed. It's better to say "a lot", because even specialist in this sphere cannot be fully versed in it. That's about everything))
