Where better to eat?

Everybody has a choice: to have dinner in the luxury restaurant or at home. It always depends of our opportunities and tastes. Some people don`t like places where people packed as sardines. They prefer to eat somewhere alone. Sometimes person fear to have egg on one`s face because of their terrible manners. We can find a lot of reasons why people prefer to have meal at home but I go bananas of restaurants and I can explain why.

First of all, many people don`t have enough time for dinner. I hope that I can bring home the bacon and become an immaculate interpreter in future. As you understood, my future job will take all my free time and I can`t waste it for cooking. I don`t want to think about where I can buy all ingredients for my favourite cake when I can just happy as a clam go to the restaurant and offer it. In this way I will not be in a stew.

Secondly, you can enjoy sophisticated atmosphere in any restaurant. If we are taking not mince the words, I can say that some pubs have fine kettle of fish because of men drink a lot of beer and then fight with each other. However, owners of restaurants always control something like this. They don`t want to be red as a lobster before their clients.

And the last thing that I would like to mention that you can choose from a variety of dishes. For example, in an Indian restaurant you can try North and South India cuisine. Also, you can taste peachy keen pastry like spaghetti in an Italian restaurant.

So, we can find a lot of advantages or disadvantages of eating at home or in the restaurant but you have to decide what will be suitable for you. 

Panegyric on a young friend

      Recently, my fate made me a gift. It was fortuitous meeting  with my old friend – Regina. We had become friends  way before we met  in the  bus, which was packed as sardines  lately. Together we got out in wrinkled  clothes at the next stop and started to  talk a blue streak. Regina was  a fairy girl, happy as a clam , there seemed the world was her oyster. I was slightly older than she. The thing I like about her was the milk of human kindness. Regina studied  at the University of Medicine , in the Pharmacologic Department. She had an outstanding achievements in studies. Regina was clever and  hard-working, everything was a piece of cake  for her.

      Well about  me…I had a pile of  complexes, fearing I would have an egg on my face. But I did well in studies, it was readily. I didn`t like  to cry in my beer when something was amiss.

      We had  a lot  of differences  and at the same time,  we were  two peas in a pod. We didn`t mince the words and always told the truth each other, chatted about everything. Regina was my friend for life…We dreamed about finishing our studies, that we would bring home the bacon and  we would became independence. But I was always for the proverb "a bird in the hand is worth two in the brush" , and she was for the "pie in the sky".

       Unfortunately, our paths diverged us for a long time , but now, we are together again!

                                                                             

Most Influential Woman in Britain

Nowadays everyone knows who is JK Rowling. She is the most famous British novelist of the 21st century, screenwriter and film producer who brought home the bacon and became one of the richest women in Britain.

But not everyone knows that she was very poor a certain period of her life,lived on state benefits and was in a stew. Furthermore, Joan believed that she was a dead meat and nutty as a fruitcake. She lost her mother, experienced a divorce and felt a fine kettle of fish.

She had no money, and the first book, "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", she wrote on an old typewriter. You'll never believe it, but when this book was sent to the 12 publishers, none of them did not agree to publish it. They did not understand that this book was an offer on the table.

Just a few years, the fourth book "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" broke sales records in the UK and in the US.372,775 copies of the book were sold like hotcakes in its first day in the UK.

And nowadays Harry Potter is a global brand worth an estimated US$15 billion and the world in Joan`s oyster. Despite this, JK Rowling didn`t ham up. She has supported charities including Comic Relief, One Parent Families, Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain and Lumos (formerly the Children's High Level Group and shows the milk of human kindness every day.

Honeymoon in Paris?

THAT WAS THE WORST HONEYMOON EVER, I SWEAR!!!

So, let me tell how it started. As any other girl, I thought that the world was my oyster. I couldn’t even suppose that I would be in a stew. The point was that my husband (now my ex-husband, of course) decided to take not only me but also his stupid parents to Paris! Just imagine! And he didn’t give even a fig. I was disappointed but that was about Paris and I had to cope with such a trouble.

Besides, he booked one room in a hotel for all of us. That was supposed to be a fine kettle of fish. We were packed as sardines! What a nightmare! My ex thought that I would butter his mom up but I’m not easy-going, you know… So, I was left like a lemon: having gotten neither relax nor romantic atmosphere.

To sugar-coat the truth I want to admit that taken pictures were sweet as honey but I’ve deleted all of them recently.

Moreover, his crazy parents ordered a pizza and were staying in the room (with my ex). Okay, I repeat, «A pizza in Paris!!!». God, it was definitely not my cup of tea.

In brief, during all the trip I was thinking when my life would get an apple-pie order!

Jane's Story

Jane was an ordinary woman. She was a housewife. But she was sick of way of her life and one day she decided to change everything. Since her childhood she wanted to work for travel company, so she dared to write resume and to send it to different travel agencies. It wasn't easy for her. She didn't know how to do it in the right way. So, she began to surf the Internet in order to find useful information. A lot of time and effort has been spent and made when finally Jane realized her wish. She noticed that it would be better to not mince the words during writing resume. Moreover, it's nowhere near right to butter somebody up and to ham somebody up. In addition, she should look like an interesting and educated person. Jane followed these rules and wrote a worthy resume. Time went by and one company invited her to the colloquy. Frankly speaking, Jane was happy as a clam. Of course, she understood that she must be prepared for this because in another way she had egg on her face and was dead meat. Futhermore, she's not used to be red as a lobster. So, she was ready to beat the stuffing out of herself in oder to pass the interview successfully. Eventually, director of that company was agreeably surprised and he hired her with pleasure. Jane felt like the world was her oyster. She was so delighted because she reached success. Since that time she has been bringing home a bacon.
