My story | Thirst for Victory

People are so different, aren't they?  But what thing can make them closer? The key of this question is in my story .

It was in London in 1780 , when housing problem made people go bananas. Own detached house was pie in the sky for those who were packed as sardines in their awkward condominiums. People cried in Mr. Butler's beer and asked him to change that fine kettle of fish. He was a Midas. The world was his oyster , so it was a piece of cake to meet people's request .
- If I build a lot of cheap dwellings , people will sell them like hotcakes! But it can again cause fine kettle of fish, because people will start to make mincemeat out of each other in chase of detached houses. I don't mince the words , so to tell the truth not everybody merits my milk of human kindness! - thought Mr. Butler.
A Midas had finally understood not only how to define those who will receive a house as a gift , but also how to make people closer. It was a good idea to organise a three-day sporting contest. A team could consist of 30 people . Only three groups will receive detached houses as plums, others who will be slow as molasses will be left like a lemon.
Through the grape vine , that competition had changed London's life and all had finally become in apple - pie order
   Thirst for victory works wonders!
